Beulah Ann Stringer, 97, died Thursday, May 1, 2003 in Ocean Springs. She was a native of Brookhaven and was a longtime resident of Biloxi. She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal.
Preceded in death by her husband, Spurgeon Stringer, two daughters, Betty Ruth Fries and Eugenia Lawrence, parents, William and Ada Hankins, six brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Phillips of Ocean Springs, two sons, Charles Randall Stringer of Woolmarket and William J. Stringer of North Biloxi, a sister, Margie Sullivan of Woolmarket, a brother, Joe Hankins of Lucedale, 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2003 at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi.
There will be a 10 a.m. service Saturday, May 3, 2003 at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe. Burial will be at Biloxi City Cemetery.
