Funeral services were held for Joseph Elbridge Hankins, 89, of Lucedale, on Monday, December 24, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Sigler Funeral Home.
Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Bro. Joe Helfin officiating the services.
A member of the Pentecostal faith, he served in the Navy in World War II. A retired carpenter, he died Friday, December 21, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Alberta Hankins of Lucedale; sister, Marjorie Sullivan of Biloxi and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ada (Butler) Hankins.
Pallbearers were Keith Howard, Joe Stigall, Gordan Smith, Joe Hudson, B. J. Hudson and Jerry Hudson.
