He is survived by his wife, Alberta Hankins of Lucedale; sister, Marjorie Sullivan of Biloxi and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ada (Butler) Hankins.
Pallbearers were Keith Howard, Joe Stigall, Gordan Smith, Joe Hudson, B. J. Hudson and Jerry Hudson.
