PETER J. SMITH

The funeral of Peter J. Smith, a machinist at the Continental Can Company 15 years, who died Monday night at his home, 241 Sunstruck Drive, after a 10-month illness, will be conducted at 9 A.M. Thursday at the home and at 9:30 o’clock in Saint Vincent de Paul Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Mr. Smith was a native of Syracuse. He was a communicant of Saint Vincent de Paul Church and a member of its Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Stuhler Smith; a son, Bernard C. Smith; two daughters, Mrs. James W. Scott of Rochester and Mrs. Bradford Skelton; three brothers, Fred, Jacob and Nicholas Smith; four sisters, Mrs. William Ruof, Mrs. Philip Krick, Mrs. Charles Fenchel and Mrs. Frank Riley; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
