SCHMIT – In this city, October 11th, 1911, NICHOLAS SCHMIT, age 68 years. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. William Ruof, Mrs. Philip Krick, Mrs. George Eichenlaub, Mrs. Charles Fenchel and Miss Tillie Schmit, all of this city; five sons, Peter J., Frederick F., John N., Jacob H. and Nicholas B. Schmit, all of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Ripp of Port Leyden, Mrs. Peter Freedan of Oneida and Mrs. Susan Smith of Oneida; three brothers, Nicholas Schmit of Mohawk Hill, Martin Schmit of Constableville and John Schmit of this city, and twelve grandchildren. Mr. Schmit was a member of Branch No. 36, C. M. B. A.

Funeral at his late home, No. 110 John street, Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock, and at the Church of Assumption at 10 o’clock. Members and friends are invited. Burial in Assumption cemetery.
