Mrs. Pauline M. Burdge, 65, died at Altoona General Hospital, following an extended
illness. Born on September 7, 1909, at Shirleyburg, she was a daughter of the late Harry L. and Gertrude (Wogan) Bard. She became the bride of the late Leon R. Burdge on November 29, 1934, at Huntingdon. Mr. Burdge preceded her in death on January 4, 1968.

Surviving are three children, Robert Rogers of Chambersburg, Mrs. Doloris Kuny of Altoona and Mrs Linda Musselman, at home, five granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. One half-brother, Ralph Appleby of Shirleysburg, also survives.

Mrs. Burdge was a member of the United Methodist Church of Hollidaysburg and the
Hollidaysburg chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 1, at the Lester E. Plank
funeral home, Hollidaysburg. The Rev. Donald L. Shafer and the Rev. Joseph Sabo will
officiate. Interment will be made in Alto Reste Cemetery, Hollidaysburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight, Monday evening, and on Tuesday
from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m.
