Mary was the daughter of Elias & Anne [Gibbs] White.

She married Charles Y Tapp Sr., abt 1850 in Bowie County Texas.

They had 5 Children:

Charles Y Jr------1856-1881-------m. Never married.
Virginia A---------1858-1932-------m. Never married.

Mary 2nd married: William F Smith 1861: they had 2 children:

William F--------1862-1870------m. died as young boy.
Ruth A -----------1863-1865------m. died as baby girl.

Wm F Smith is buried at the Center Ridge Cemetery down the road a piece in Maud Bowie Co Texas, with the family of Mary's brother, Benjamin White.
