It must be noted that the Birth Year of Jerusha is, in error, on her grave stone, she was born 1814, not 1828, as all of the census records will verify. (1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900).
===================================================
Jerusha's parents were, Elias & Anne 'Gibbs' White, of Union Co SC.
They migrated to Bowie Co Texas, in Oct. 1846.
===================================================
Jerusha White married Cooper Wilbanks, in 1834, in Union Co SC. Her name has been spelled in many ways over the years; Russia, Rusha, Jerusia, Jerushiat, Gerusha.
Her husbands parents were, John & Edith 'Fannie' Jackson' Wilbanks, of Union Co SC.
=================================================
Cooper & Jerusha had Nine known Children: (All born Union Co SC, except last child)

=================================================

"Church Minutes: (Union County SC)
On Aug 25, 1832, Russia (Jerusha) White was received at the Lower Fairforest Baptist Church, in Union Co SC, along with, her parents, Elias & Anne White.
On Jan 25, 1834, Russia (Jerusha) was dismissed from the Lower Fairforest Baptist Church, quote: "Letter of dismission granted to Russia Wilbanks, formerly, Russia White". We believe 1834 is the date of her marriage to Cooper Wilbanks, and she was in the process, of joining her new husband, at their new church.
=================================================
On Mar 15, 1834, Cooper Wilbanks and Jerushiat Wilbanks (Jerusha), were received by experience, into the Padgett's Creek Baptist Church, in Cross Keys Union Co SC.
On Dec 14, 1851 Letters of dismission were granted to Br. Cooper Wilbanks and wife, and Sister Parry Wilbanks, at the Padgett's Creek Church. This was obviously, in preparation for their move to Tippah Co Mississippi.

Minutes from Tippah Co Mississippi: (Chalybeate Baptist Church)
On Mar 18, 1854, In the minutes of the Chalybeate Baptist Church, in Tippah Co MS; Recieved: Br. Cooper Wilbanks & Wife Rusha Wilbanks, also Parry Wilbanks, was on the 1854 membership list.
End of Church minutes.
=================================================
Their first child was born Oct 16, 1853, in Tippah Co MS, gives us an idea of their arrival time frame in Mississippi. (between 1852/1853).
It appears Jerusha attempted to name two sons, after her father Elias; Elisha, and Elijah, and remembered her mother Anne, by using "Ann" as the middle name of two of her daughters. In the early census before 1840, Elias White, had 2 unknown females and one unknown male, living in his household, in Union Co SC, we are sure, Jerusha White Wilbanks, is one of the unknown daughters of Elias & Anne Gibbs White.
Note here the other unknown daughter, of Elias & Anne White, we suspect was Sarah Ann White, who married, Jeremiah "Jerry" Bobo, in Union Co SC, she died before, Jerry moved to Bowie Co TX, in 1846, with his father-in-law/Uncle, Elias White, Jerry was the son of Solomon & Elizabeth [White] Bobo, Elias's sister. Jerry then married, his first cousin, Hester White, Elias's daughter, who was the sister of Sarah Ann [White] Bobo. Note also, that Jerusha named a daughter Sarah Ann Wilbanks, Sarah White Bobo, died, about 1845, before Cooper & Jerusha left South Carolina, in 1852. She also named 2 sons, after her father, one died young one survived.
