John H. Peel Jr., our dear father, age 82, passed away May 22, 1999 in West Valley City, Utah.
Jack was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to John H. Peel and Esther Matson. Jack married Roma Louise Robertson In Ely, Nevada. Jack will be missed by family, friends and community. He worked for 27 years at United Air Lines. He was an avid gardener, did woodworking and loved the outdoors. Weekends were often spent fishing or hunting. He will be remembered for his devotion to his large and extended family, Jack was never happier than when he was with them. His death leaves a void and we will remember him. Peace be with him.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Marsha Godman; son, John H. Peel; sisters, Florence Day and Esther Randal; brothers, Perry Peel, David Peel and Tom Peel. He is also survived by grandchildren, Angela Martinez, Courtney Wolcott and Jennifer Peel; great grandchildren, Maxwell and Gabrielle. Jack is preceded in death by his wife, Roma Louise Robertson; brothers, Owen Peel, Grant Peel; sisters, Mary Mickelson, Fern Peel, Lucille Smith and Linda Anderson.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday May 27, 1999 at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 So., West Valley City. Friends may call at a viewing Wednesday May 26th 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
