Born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to John Henry and Esther Matson Peel, Florence Riddle Day, 90, completed her earthly life at her home in Fairview. She married Charles Lothair Riddle April 14, 1934. He was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident May 17, 1942. She married George Nathan Day December 5, 1944. He passed away July 13, 1976.

Graduating from North Sanpete High School, she served in ward Relief Society, ward and stake Primary presidencies for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her life's passion was her family, where she spent many hours giving compassionate service to them, friends and neighbors. An avid gardener, she received several beautification awards from the city of Fairview.

Dennis Day, Nedra Riddle Sorensen, Charles (Glenna) Riddle, Carol Day Doyle, Thomas (Sherrie) Day, Leon (Lorele) Day, Keith (Cindy) Day, and Nanette Day (Donald) Watson, children; 31 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; David Peel Sr., Tom Peel, brothers; Esther Randall, sister survive. Her parents, two husband, daughter Lazon Riddle Sorensen, sisters: Mary Mikkelsen, Lucile Smith, Fern Peel, and Linda Andersen; brothers: Jack, Owen, Perry and Grant Peel predeceased Florence.
