Ruth Vivian Rolph CHRISTOPHER, age 78, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 24, 1998.
Born November 16, 1919 in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Parley Eugene and Alvida Vienna Brandon ROLPH. Married John (Jack) Norman CHRISTOPHER, July 07, 1937; later solemnized in Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple; later divorced. Married Wayne P. JOHNSON, who preceded her in death. Devoted member of the L.D.S. Church, where she served in numerous callings. Enjoyed dancing, country music, shopping, and loved her family and her home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her sons, Douglas (Georgia), Kenneth (Sue), and Robin; brother, LeGrande (Joy) ROLPH; sister, Audrey (Alan) ANDERSON; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon at the Mount Pleasant Stake Center, 295 South State Street. Friends may call Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
