James Armstrong Dies in Hospital
James Armstrong, 87, 527 S. Webster avenue, retired Milwaukee railroad employee, dies ib a local hospital Monday afternoon.

The body is at the Findeisen-Greiser Funeral Home, where it may be viewed after 7 o'clock this evening. The Rev. H. E. Brendenmihl will say prayers for the dead at 8 o'clock Wednesday evening.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning in Christ Episcopal church. Father Brendenmihl will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.

Born Oct. 23, 1864, in Green Bay, he was the last survivor among the five children of John and Margaret Armstrong, pioneer residents here. He attended the Green Bay public schools. He was employed by the Milwaukee road for many years, and for a time was ticket agent in the Green Bay station. Later he was employed in the traffic department in Chicago, retiring 12 years ago.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Vivian Davis of Minneapolis, Minn.; a nephew, John H. Allen, Chicago, and several grand-nephews. His wife, Elsie, died July 11, 1951.
