SKOWHEGAN, Dec. 3 -- Mrs. Elsie L. MacDonald, 67, of North Avenue, died at a local hospital Monday morning after a long illness. She was born in St. Agatha, July 1, 1889, the daughter of Joseph and Victoria (Derosier) Lagassey.
She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann.
Besides her husband, Joseph D. MacDonald, she is survived by three brothers, John Lagassey of Millinocket, Elroy Lagassey of St. Agatha, and Fred Lagassey of Hartford, Conn.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Boynton of Millinocket.
The remains will be at the residence until time of the funeral, where friends may call.
Funeral services will be held at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
