Beulah Chloy Mobley, 85, of Idaho Falls, a former resident of Menan, died July 7, 1999, at Golden Times Adult Services near Rigby.
She was born January 22, 1914, in Lorenzo, Idaho, to Ernest Harrop and Chloy Walker Harrop. She attended elementary school in Annis, Idaho, and later Rigby High School.
On November 22, 1933, she married Harvey Mobley in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her entire life.
Some of her most memorable auxiliary positions include Relief Society president, genealogy program and the Old German Script name extraction program.
Survivors include three daughters, Thurla Mobley Thornton of Idaho Falls, Betty Mobley Larsen of Lancaster, California, and Helen Mobley Christensen of Meridian, Idaho; two sons, Thurman Mobley of Idaho Falls and Errol Mobley of Rigby; two sisters, Helen Harrop Bohne of Fairview, Utah, and Donabelle Harrop Nelson of Idaho Falls; two brothers, Garth Harrop of Salt Lake City and Lovell Harrop of Annis; 29 grandchildren; and 56 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p. m. at the Lincoln 1st and 2nd Wards LDS Chapel, 3700 E. Lincoln Road, Idaho Falls, with Bishop Mark Arenaz officiating. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
