Garth, 88, passed away on Feb. 11, 2007 at his home with his sweetheart holding his hand. He was born August 19, 1918 in Antelope, Idaho to Ernest and Chloy W Harrop. He married Dortha Bohne November 25, 1940 in the Manti Temple. He served his country in the United States Navy and was honorable discharged. Garth went to school to become a Master Mechanic, which was his profession for the rest of his working career. He loved the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, and keeping his yard beautiful. But he was the happiest on a snowmobile. He truly was an honorable man with a kind heart and a gentile spirit. There wasn't anything he couldn't find a way to fix. he is survived by his loving wife Dortha, children, Marilyn (Bill) Fillmore, Gary (Jennifer) Harrop, Ronnie (Terrie) Harrop, Stuart (Chris) Harrop, Robin (Kent) Stewart as well as fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
