HELEN H. BOHNE TOGETHER AGAIN EMBRACED BY HER LOVE

Helen Harrop BOHNE passed away May 22, 2007 on her daughter's birthday into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. Helen was born June 14, 1915, on her mother's birthday to Ernest and Chloy HARROP in Annis, Idaho. After serving an honorable mission to Michigan and Illinois for the L.D.S. Church, she married Eugene William BOHNE in the Manti Temple on September 28, 1938. Eugene and Helen made their home in Fairview, Utah. Helen loved working in her large garden and took pride in canning the fruits of her labor. She served faithfully in various church callings from Nursery Leader (her favorite) to the Primary and was President of the Relief Society. She loved going to the Manti Temple and worked there every week with her husband for many years. Her favorite pastime was spent making quilts for family and friends. She was a great seamstress and made clothes for both her family and herself. Serving as chaplain and 2nd captain of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers was her passion since 1983. She loved the outdoors and spent many a weekend in the mountains with her family having picnics.

She is survived by her sister, Donabelle Harrop NELSON, Idaho Falls, Idaho; brother, Willis Lovell (Lorraine) HARROP, Idaho Falls; four children, Ernest BOHNE, Sandy; Richard (Joyce) BOHNE, Rockville, Connecticut; Devona (Gale) MECHAM, Provo; Cleve (Sherri) BOHNE, Murray; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grand-children.
