He married Elizabeth Schmidt on 5 July 1881, in Jefferson County. Elizabeth was born in April of 1861, in Wisconsin. She was the daughter of John and Johanna Schmidt.
In 1910 Elizabeth and Hattie Hake, their daughter, are living at 418 Adam Street, in Ft. Atkinson.
Aaron died of cancer.
