LOCAL WOMAN SUCCUMBS TO LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. Irene Marshall, age 64 years, a life-long resident of Porter county, died Saturday noon in Porter Memorial hospital. She had been ill for several years with heart trouble.

The decedent was born on June 7, 1896, in Porter county. She was united in marriage to F. R. Marshall on Aug. 15, 1894, who survives, together with the following children: Clinton Marshall, of Michigan City, Maurice Marshall, Thomas Marshall and Mrs. Samuel Organ, of Chicago, and Elwin Marshall, of Valparaiso; and eleven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the LePell funeral home on Monroe street. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.

Friends may call at the LePell funeral home until time of the services.
