Elwin Marshall
Elwin H. Marshall, 72, Hayes-Leonard Road, died today at his home following a lengthy illness.
A lifelong Porter County resident, he was born Jan. 31, 1904, son of F. Ross and Irene (Church) Marshall. On May 18, 1925 in Kentucky he married Mildred Marshall, who survives. He was a retired sales representative for Sears' automotive department.
Two sons, Glen and James, both of Valparaiso; a daughter, Ruthanne Hershman of Wheatfield; a sister, Marcella Organ of Evanston, Ill., and 13 grandchildren also survive.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wetmore Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph S. Steele officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.
