Double Funeral Tomorrow For Mr Mrs Beckman

Albert C. Bechman, prominent retired Jefferson County Farmer, died at 7 pm only sixteen hours after the death of his wife, Mrs. Florence Bechman.
Mr. Bechman suffered a heart attack at about 7:30 pm in the chapel at the Gans Funeral Home while accepting the sympathies of friends and relatives. His wife had passed away at 3:20 am Saturday at Kings Daughters Hospital.
The couple lived for many yearson a farm in Madison Township just north of the city limitsand west of state road 7. Mr. Bechman was one of the outstanding cattle farmers in this county until ill health forced his retirement about three years ago.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Bechman were members of the ST. John's congregational church in this city.
A son, Howard, route six, and five grandchildren survive the couple. Mr. Bechman leaves a sister, Mrs. Margaret Eisenhardt, of this city and three brothers, John McGeorge Bechman, Whiteland and George Edward and Walter Lewis Bechman, both of Franklin.
Other relatives surviving Mrs. Bechman are a brother, Nick Weis, of this city; two sisters, Miss Mollie Weis, city, and Mrs. Carrie Cardinal, Dupont.
Services for Mrs. Bechman were originally scheduled for this afternoon but have been postponed. A double funeral will be at 2 pm tomorrow at Gans Funeral Home. Burial will be at Bayless Cemetery.
