WANDA GREENHALGH POTTER

Funeral services for Wanda Greenhalgh Potter were Friday, June 17, at the LDS Stake Center in Green River. President Reed Rawlins of the Green River Stake conducted services and burial was at the Manila Cemetery in Manila, Utah.

Mrs. Potter, 73, a longtime resident of Green River died June 13, 1988, in the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, of cardiac arrest.

She was born Dec. 6, 1914 in Hayden, Utah, a daughter of William and Sarah Emily Potter Greenhalgh. She married Charles A. “Ted” Potter, April 31, 1930, in Green River.

She spent her early years, was educated and lived most of her life in Green River. She had worked for Barklow Brothers at the Union Pacific depot in Green River and at Little America as a waitress for many years.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Golden Hour Senior Citizens in Green River.

She is survived by her husband of Green River; three sons, Blaine Potter, Layton, Utah, Ted Potter and Tim Potter, both of Green River; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Barta) Andrews, Ogden, Utah, and Mrs. John (Patsy) Lowseth, Rock Springs; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Tommy, a grandson, Carey, two brothers and five sisters.
