Funeral services for Elijah John Greenhalgh, 61, Denver, Colo., a former longtime resident of the Manila and Vernal, Utah area, were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at the Manila Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bishop Richard Webster officiating. Burial was in the family plot in the Manila Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ted Greenhalgh, Billy Joe Greenhalgh, Bert Madden, Max Dolenc, Bill Kouris and Tom Graham.

Mr. Greenhalgh died Thursday, April 20, at the Bel Air Hotel in Denver, where he had been residing. He had been in ill health.

Born April 30, 1910 at Neola, Utah, he had resided in that area for many years. He had been employed as a cook for the Union Pacific Railroad before retiring.

Surviving are two sons, Gary M. of Rock Springs and Ronald K. of Shasta, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Sandra) Graham of Denver and Mrs. Max (Jean) Dolenc of El Paso, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ken (Myrtle) Reed of Manila and Mrs. Chris (Wanda) Potter of Green River.
