Son of John Howarth & Mary Shores. Charles apparently chose the 'Howeth' spelling for his surname. His occupations included being a farmer, and sailor. After his first wife Annie Ford died, during childbirth of their 4th child (infant died also), Charles later married Laura J. Dodson, and fathered 12 more children! He chose however, to be buried beside his first wife.
