He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Emily Mazanec of this city and Mrs. Helen Backus of Phoenix, New York, a son Everett T. Backus of Framingham, three sisters, Mrs. Eva Seymour of this city, Mrs. Bessie Doughty of Orange, and Mrs. Elinor Lavanway of Waitsfield, Vermont, four brothers, Ernest of Concord, New Hampshire, Charles of Waterbury, Vermont, William of Putnam, Connecticut, and Harry of Moretown, Vermont, 6 grandchldren, 7 great-grandchildren.
