Baxter, Mr. Birdie O.-age 43, of 14 East Side Gate City, College Park, Ga., passed away in Dallas Hospital Dec. 13, 1948. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sally Parker Baxter; one stepson, Ernest L. Clough, of Japan; one step-daughter, Miss Marie Clough, of College Park; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Baxter, Dallas, Ga.; two brothers, Mr. Dewey Baxter of Mableton, Ga.; Mr. Whittie Baxter, Dallas; sisters, Mrs. Josie Cole, Mrs. Annie Mae Gurley, Mrs. Grace Gamel, Mrs. Martha Gazaway, Mrs. Elsie Cochran, all of Dallas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1948, at 2 p.m. at White Oak Baptist Church, with Rev. Long and Rev. Moon officiating. Interment in churchyard.
