Jane was married to Stephen Packer and her name is on his gravestone stone monument. She was his second wife. They married on August 8, 1861. For almost a decade they lived in Minnesota and then returned to Packerville.

Jane and Stephen had two sons: 1) Lloyd Greene Packer, also buried in the Packer Cemetery, and 2) Charles S. Packer.

Stephen Packer was one of the sons of Daniel Packer, the namesake for Packerville and who owned the cotton mills and built the Baptist Church.
