Mrs. Beyer was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church.
Born May 23, 1898, in Shelby County, a daughter of Frank and Chrisanthy (Fischer) Weintraut, she was married Feb. 23, 1916, to Max Beyer, who died April 1, 1970.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence Beyer R.R. 1, St. Paul; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Anna) Hatton, R.R. 1, Waldron, and Miss Leona Beyer, Salem; a brother, Ira Weintraut, Waldron; two sisters, Mrs. Celia Belter, Greensburg and Mrs. Florence Tull, Fairland; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 am. Fridat at the St. Vincent Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Laugel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Carmony Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7 o'clock Thursday evening. (Obit: Shelbyville News, Jan. 10, 1979)
