Florence M. Tull

Florence M. Tull, 79, Fairland, a lifelong resident of Shelby County, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday at W. S. Major Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Liberty Township Oct. 28, 1902, Mrs. Tull was a daughter of Frank and Crestentia Weintraut. She married Virgil Tull March 10, 1927. He preceded her in death Dec. 30, 1967.
Survivors include four children, Mrs. Virginia Adler, Shelbyville; Mrs. Mary Frances Cook, McCordsville; Mrs. Kenneth (Claire Ann) Fitzgerald, Shreveport, La.; and John F. Tull, Shelbyville. Also surviving are a brother, Ira Weintraut, Waldron; a sister, Mrs. Cecilia Belter, Greensburg, eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
One brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Ewing Mortuary, with the Rev. Jeffrey Charlton, deacon of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, officiating. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Fairland Cemetery. (Obit: Shelbyville News, July 16, 1982)
