VOSS, Harry 1907-1965
Harry Voss, 58, of Delmar, died suddenly Sunday ( June 20, 1965 was a Sunday ) afternoon at the Clinton Corn Processing Co., where he was employed. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Snell-Smith funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Voss was born June 7, 1907 in Rock Island, Ill., the son of Phillip and Florence Haertzen Voss. He married Elizabeth Martinsen on Dec. 6, 1933 in Clinton.
Mr. Voss is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. William (Mary Ann) Woolley of Rawson, Ohio; five sons; Air Force Staff Sgt. Merritt Voss of Sumter, S.C., Robert of Goose Lake, Floyd and Jerry of DeWitt, Dean of Clinton; eight grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Helen McCoy of Clinton and Mrs. Albert (Rose) Eberhart of Charlotte; a half-brother, Cyril "De Vrieze" of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
