Rosa Eberhart, 82, of Charlotte died April 29, 1992 at her home.
Funeral services were conducted May 2 at Assumption Catholic Church, Charlotte, with the Rev. David Steinle officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Nelson Funeral Home, DeWitt was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Lyle, David and Andy Eberhart, Onie Butt, Gary Parker, Steve Witt, Ronald Burken, Mike O'Meara. All grandsons.
Rosa Eberhart was born September 2, 1909, in Rock Island, Ill., to Phillip and Florence Voss. She married Albert Eberhart Feb. 9, 1927, in Charlotte. She attended Delmar schools and lived in the area most of her lifetime.
She was a member of the church and its altar and rosary society. Her hobbies included quilt making, sewing, and cooking.
Surviving are her husband; daughters, Mary (Mrs. Wesley) Witt and Alice (Mrs. Maurice) Butt, both of Charlotte, Rose (Mrs. Gerald) O'Meara of Schaller, Ia, Helan Burken of Camanche and Janet (Mrs. Donald) Parker of Warsaw, Ind.; sons William of Delmar, Robert of Charlotte, Earl of Taylor Ridge, Ill. and Joe of Dallas Town, Pa.; 47 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a sister and three brothers.
