OBIT - Mrs. Sarah Creason Milby Stiltz, daughter of the late Mr. Ben Franklin Creason and Mrs. Malinda J DeSpain Creason, was born November 12, 1896 in Green County and departed this life at 3:30 p.m. Monday, February 12, 1976 in the Jane Todd Crawford Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. She was 79 years, three months and 11 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church at the time of her death.
She united in marriage to Mr. Robert Nathan Milby and he preceded her in death in 1927. To this union was born one daughter: Mrs. Hulett Stearman of Louisville.
She united in marriage to Mr. J. A. Stiltz April 9, 1935 who survives.
Mrs. Stiltz is also survived by one stepson: Jock Stiltz of Park City, Kentucky; two step-daughters: Mrs. Maybelle Hulsley of Louisville and Mrs. Genevee Ballfour of California; two half-brothers: Elam and Clell Creason both of Louisville; three half-sisters: Mrs. Owen (Marty) Burton and Mrs. Lee Shields both of Hudgins and Miss Alice Creason of Greensburg; two granddaughters: Twylia Ritter and Elaine Hartfield, both of Louisville; nine step-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.
The remains were in the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home where services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 1976 with burial in the Aetna Grove Cemetery. Rev. Shiley Beard officiated.
Pallbearers were: Arthur Creason, Alton Creason, William L Creason, Carl Creason, Anthony Creason and Jimmy Creason. (Record-Herald, Greensburg KY)
