Betty L. Davis (Kiley) 72, of Akron, died Nov 3, 2000.
Betty was born in Akron and was a lifelong resident. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, and was a member of the Eagles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan; her warm smile and gentle way will be sadly missed by her son and daughter in law, Jerry and Dorothy of Memphis, Tenn. sisters, June (Bill) McLain of Akron, Doris Talbot of Bedford, Grace Yates of Green, Ruth Selesky of Cape Canaveral, Fla, and Pat Thacker of Shinnston, W. Va. sister in law, Ada Hughes of Green, and granddaughter , Jenny.

Their daughter Jenny Rebecca Davis class of 2002 Gateway Christian School Memphis, Tennesse.

In April of 1938 Betty's Dress caught on fire when she was a child and had sever burns over much of body. Was in hospital for over a year recovering.

Betty loved to play cards and bingo...she had one leg removed due to poor circulation and in a few years had both legs taken off but always had high spirits and anyone who ever met her loved her. She had a few puppy dogs in her life and loved them. Betty never learned to read or write but was a smart cookie...she saw the world like no other...I miss her so as did my mother (her sister) Doris.
