She was born March 17, 1914, in Lakeshore, Utah, to Thomas and Rosella Hone.
On Jan. 18, 1932, she married John H. Dodds. She worked as a certified nurse's assistant for many years and also worked at Roger Brothers food-processing plant until retiring at age 65.
She raised five of six children.
Survivors include her children, Arlean Turner of Turner, Ore., Carmalee Scigliano-Rous-seau of Roy, Wash., Helen Gardner of Salem, Ore., and Thomas M. Dodds of Enum-claw, Wash.
She was preceded in death by a son, Henry Jr. "Bill" Dodds, a former resident of Idaho Falls; and a son, Harry Melvin, who died in 1943 at age 2 months.
