Alvin Ross Hone, 89, died Tuesday, April 3, 1990 at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah. He resided at 290 South Canyon Avenue in Springville, Utah at the time of his death.

He was born September 23, 1900 in Benjamin, Utah, a son of Thomas and Rosella Huff Hone.

He married Chole L. Timothy on November 10, 1922 in Vernal, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Springville; three sons, E.A. Hone, Lakewood, Colorado; LeVear, Salt Lake City; Bernell T. Hone, San Diego, California; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; two brothers and one sister, Dave Hone, Mapleton; Elmer Hone, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Mary Jones, Port Orchard, Washington.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. in the Springville Sixteenth Ward Chapel, 245 South 600 East, Springville. Friends may call on Thursday, April 5, 1990 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sundberg Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, and Friday one hour prior to services at the Ward Chapel.
Burial will be in the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery.
