David Andrew Tollett, 68, of Crossville, passed away June 4, 2002. Funeral services were conducted June 6 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with burial in Tollett Cemetery in Bledsoe County, TN. The Rev. Bratton Tucker officiated, with special music by The Goldenaires.
Mr. Tollett was born Dec. 12, 1933, in Cumberland County, the son of George Franklin and Jane Scott Tollett.
He was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church, and was a participant in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed roller skating and water skiing.
Survivors include his brothers, Bill Tollett of Crossville, Charles Tollett of Washington, DC, and Danny Tollett of Hendersonville, TN; sister, Bettye Hill of Crossville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Creed Tollett, Finas Tollett, Woodrow Tollett, Bob Tollett and John Tollett; and sister, Mary Melton.
Pallbearers were Kirk Tollett, Lynn Tollett, George Melton, Ronnie Hill, Bill Tollett and Ed Tollett.
Hood Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
