Served with the Royal Flying Corps (RFC) B.E.F. During the First World War of 1914-18. He enlisted at Doncaster Yorkshire England on Jan. 31st 1915 at age 24. He listed his occupation as "Mechanic" Born in South Elmsall England in 1891 after the war he immigrated to Canada arriving at Halifax Nova Scotia on April 16th 1929 on board the White Star Liner R.M.S. Megantic. He made his way out West to British Columbia settling down in the Langley Area were he died on Nov. 1st 1980 at age 89 and was buried in the Old Murrayville Cemetery.
