Cleonis S. Curtis died Monday afternoon at his home nine miles northwest of this city. Mr. Curtis came here from Illinois in 1891. He was a member of the Christian church. He is survived by four sons; Orval Curtis of Warrensburg, Mo.; and Oscar, Frank, and Ira, and four daughters, Mrs. Lottie Orme, Mrs. Lois Hart, Mrs. Ella Dixon, and Miss Ida Curtis all of Parsons, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Blevins, Manchester, Ill.; Mrs. Elizabeth Billings, Roodhouse, Ill.; and one brother Douglas Curtis of California; 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
