Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Blossom Funeral Home for Miss Ida Curtis, 78, who died Wednesday at a local nursing home. The Rev. Wilbert Dunlap, pastor of the Central Avenue Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Valley Cemetery, northwest of Parsons.
Born in Illinois, Miss Curtis came to the Parsons area in 1891 and lived most of her life on a farm northwest of Parsons with two brothers, Frank and Oscar Curtis.
