Mrs. James Day, resident three miles north of Richwoods, died at her home Thursday afternoon after a somewhat protracted illness. The funeral sermon was preached at East Union church at 11 o'clock today, after which the remains were taken to Manchester for burial. Deceased leaves a large circle of friends who sympathize with the bereaved husband and children.

Mrs. Margaretta Day died Thursday (20 Feb. 1890), fifty-two years, ten months and twenty-three days. Married James D. Day 28 Aug. 1854. Buried in Manchester cemetery.

Mrs. James Day, wife of James Day, died at her home two miles north of here Tuesday, and was interred in the Manchester cemetery Friday. Mrs. Day has many friends in this locality who mourn her departure, but we know our loss is her gain. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family.
