Delmar E. Bash , age 90, passed away on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at Fox Run Manor. He was born in Findlay on April 27, 1921, to the late David W. and Bessie (Murray) Bash. Delmar served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps and was a Purple Heart recipient. He is survived by his brother's Melvin, Ralph, and Wayne Bash and thirteen nieces and nephews. Delmar was preceded in death by four brother's, Murray, Marvin, Harvey and Medford Bash and sister Faye Thorton. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Findlay and the American Legion, Ralph D. Cole Post #3. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, with pastor Dave Spence officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of service. Burial will follow in Benton Ridge Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fox Run and Bridge Home Health and Hospice for the fine care they provided Delmar.
