Edward Victor Moore, 85, died Friday, March 14, 1997 at his home of causes incident to age.

Born May 3, 1911 in Coalville, Summit Co., Utah to David Edward and Pearl Powell Moore. Married Ellen Juanita Staples, August 29, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a life-time resident of Upton, Utah. He was an active member of the LDS Church throughout his life. He held the office of high priest and has served in numerous church callings including Bishop. He will always be remembered by his family, friends and neighbors for his honesty and the fine example he set. He was a life long rancher and was presented the "Farmer of the Year" award. Survived by his wife, Juanita, two sons and three daughters: Sheldon Edward (Sharmeen) Moore, Logan; Arvin Victor Moore, Upton; Arlene (Earl) O'Driscoll, Evanston, Wyo.; Ileane (Randall) Taylor, Kamas; and Doris Juanita (Ernest) Prettyman, Helper; three sisters: Marie Bevan, Tooele; Fern Black, Evanston, Wyo.; and Dorothy Barkau, Kearns; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Ardella Peet and Marian Smith and two grandchildren David Taylor and Jill O'Driscoll.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 1997 at 1 p.m. in the Coalville Stake Center. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville, Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment, Coalville City Cemetery
