Fern Moore Black passed away on April 11, 2004, in Evanston, WY.
Born on May 31, 1917, in Upton, the daughter of David and Pearle (Powell) Moore. On July 10, 1951, she married Oscar William Black in Evanston, WY. He died on Nov. 1, 1988. She was a member of the LDS Church and had served as a Sunday School Teacher. Fern was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 4280 and enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning reading and spending tie with nieces and nephews.
Survived by many nieces and nephews and her sister Dorothy Barkeu, of Kearns. Preceded in death by her husband; three sisters, Ardella Peet, Marian Smith and Marie Beven, and one brother Edward Moore.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Crandall Funeral Home Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Coalville City Cemetery, at 1 p.m. in Coalville, under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home.
