Tamar D. Bish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bish of Paint Township, passed out of this life into the great beyond June 26, 1907, aged 16 years 3 months and 8 days. She was a young lady of fine disposition and character and her sudden death came as a great shock to the family and community, her illness being of only a few days duration. Her parents and seven brothers and three sisters have the sympathy of a host of friends. The brothers and sisters are Frank, Thomas and Edward, of Mannington, W.Va., Harry Bish, mrs. Hartzell and Mrs. Trainer of Shippenville, George, John, Laura and Teddie at home. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.F. Fleming of Clarion, assisted by Rev. W.G. McConnell of New Castle. Interment was made in Clarion Cemetery Saturday, June 30. Mr. and Mrs. Bish and family desire to return their thanks to those who so kindly sympathized and helped them in the time of their trouble and bereavement.
Death certificate notes she died at 4:40 a.m. from shock brought on from eating ice cream. Father was informant, signed W. M. Bish. Date of burial was June 29, 1907.
