Harry E. Bish, 71, of RD 1, Shippenville, died at 4:45 p.m. Friday at his home following a prolonged illness. He was born on March 6, 1875, the son of William and Anna Kunkle Bish. He married Sarah Alice Beers, who preceded him in death seven years ago. The deceased spent his early life as a farmer in West Virginia. He moved to Shippenville 12 years ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Arthur Ogden, of South Charleston, West Virginia, Mrs. Wyatt Lazenby, of Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Paul Corle, of Shippenville, William, Robert and Bernard Bish, all of Weirton, West Virginia, Bert Bish, of Rouseville, and Thomas Bish, of the U.S. Marine Corp. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Theodore Bish, of Wentling Corners, John Bish, of Bradford, Edward Bish, of Ravenwood, West Virginia, George Bish, of San Diego (or Odessa, Texas), Mrs. Clyde Trainer, of Clarion, Mrs. William Hartzell, of Van, and Mrs. Merle Best, of Wentlings Corners; and 13 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Monday) at Kier Funeral Home, Clarion, with Rev. Albert Howe, pastor of Clarion Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Clarion Cemetery.
