Bessie (Bray) Wilson New

"Bessie Wilson New, 86, Beecher House, formerly of the Burnetta community, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.

She was born in Nancy, Aug. 30, 1904, daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy Jane Eads Bray. She was a homemaker and member of Chesterview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Herstle New; two sons, Joseph Wilson, Faubush, and Vestel Wilson, Bell Center, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Johnny Michael Wilson, Darrell Wilson, Roger Wilson, Bobby Wilson, Brenda Livermore, Linda Baker, David Wilson, Rhonda Elliott, Jeffery Wilson, and John Barton Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kelley L. Wilson, who died in February, 1943; three sons, Kelley Wilson, Jr., Estil Dean Wilson; a stepson, Ezra M. Wilson; a stepdaughter, Wanza Norfleet, three brothers, Columbus, George, and Johnny Bray; and a sister, Margaret Rainwater.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Edgar Ray officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens."
