Obit: STEPHEN, Clarence E., 91, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, went to be with his loving wife, Saturday, September 29, 2007, in Crestview Health Care Center.
He was born April 4, 1916, son of the late Milton and Anna (Jeffers) Stephen.
He was a member of St. John The Baptist Church in Miltonsburg; and a retired dairy farmer. He was an avid hunter; a sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox; and he also liked his Mail Pouch.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Luzelda; three sisters, Marjorie Carpenter, Mildred Hardesty, and Wanda DeVitt; and two brothers, Garold and Hubert.
Surviving are three children, Robert (Carolyn) of Beallsville, Ohio, Lonnie (Marilyn) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Connie Stephen of the home; five grandchildren, Tawnya, Tracey, Travis, Mathew, and Spencer; four sisters, Bertha Carpenter, Thelma Froehlich both of Barnesville, Ohio, Virginia Gallagher of Canton, Ohio, and Madeline Mellinger of Jerusalem, Ohio; and three brothers, William of Salem, Ohio, Rolland of Hagerstown, Md., and Joe of Canton.
Visitation Tuesday 5-9 p.m.. at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
Mass 11 a.m., Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Miltonsburg.
Burial in St, John's Cemetery.
