Madeline R. Mellinger, 85, Jerusalem, Ohio, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born February 26, 1925 to Milton and Anna Jeffers Stephen.

She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Miltonsburg.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arla Sefert; second husband, Arthur Dale Mellinger (Dec. 3, 1992); children, Charles Sefert and Bonnie Sensibaugh; infant, April Mellinger; and brothers and sisters, Marjorie and Bertha Carpenter, Mildred Hardesty, Clarence, Garold, Hubert and Roland Stephen and Wanda Devitt.

Surviving are three sons and their families, six daughters and their families; two sisters; 33 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, May 6 at St. Johns Catholic Church, Miltonsburg. Burial in Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville.
