FILLMORE--Lena Waddoups Moyes, age 85, died June 20, 1997 in Delta.
She was born October 5, 1911 in Lewiston, Utah to William and Mary Jane Wilson Waddoups, Jr. She married Joseph Hinton, December 4, 1929 in the Salt Lake Temple. Later divorced. She married Joseph William Moyes, August 10, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Marriage later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He died April 30, 1988.
Survivors are children, Olin Hinton; Arvid Hinton; Halvor Hinton; Mary Jane Hinton Stevens; Doris Hinton Rimington; and Lena Jo Hinton Turner; stepchildren, Joe Moyes; Beth Moyes Smith; Billy Moyes Slack; Rose Moyes Kromrei; Earl Moyes; Merlin Moyes; Wanda Moyes Kromrei; Vanda Moyes Martin; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wed., June 25, 1997 at 1 p.m. in the Fillmore 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may call Wed. 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the ward chapel. Burial will take place in the Fillmore City Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary.
