Noah Thomas Gould (1880 - 1957) was born in Selby Srings, Shelby, Alabama on September 16, 1880 to his parents, Green G. Gould (1855 - 1919) & Elizabeth F. Moore (1856 - 1931). He & his siblings relocated with his parents in the Spring of 1885 from Shelby Springs, Shelby, Alabama to Lake, Scott, Mississippi. They relocated to Conehatta Village, Newton, Mississippi in 1888 and were recorded as living there in the 1900 U.S. Federal Census.

Noah Thomas Gould (1880 - 1957) Married Lucille C. Emmons (1879 - 1974) on November 21, 1901 in Lake, Scott, Mississippi. They first settled at Mr. Roy Nichols Old Plantation House, not far from Salem Baptist Church in 1901. In 1905 Noah Thomas Gould bought 105 acres of land and the house that he was living in from Mr. Roy Nichols where he soon added on to the house and built up the family homestead which was within a half mile from Salem Baptist Church.

Noah Thomas Gould (1880 - 1957) & Lucille C. Emmons (1879 - 1974) gave birth to only 4 children: Emma Lucille Gould (1902 - 1902), Lillie Sophronia Gould (1904 - 1984), George Ellis Gould (1906 - 1958) & Tommie Lucille Gould (1911 - 1998).

Noah Thomas Gould died at his home due to illness at 77 years of age, on September 19, 1957 and was laid to rest in the nearby Salem Baptist Church Cemetery where he was one of the Church Elders.
