Utica- Maurice L. Allen, 60, of Utica, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at Licking County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for one day. He had been retired because of health and was employed as maintenance supervisor at the Graceland Shopping mall in Columbus.
He was born March 29, 1911 at Newcastle, the son of James D & Karen Carpenter Allen. He had been a member of the Newcastle Methodist Church. Surviving are his widow, the former Maxine Cummings
three sons: Donald, David and Mark Allen
two daughters: Mrs. Marlene Gilbreth and Mrs. Susan Wright
Seven grandchildren, one great grandchild
