Mrs. Stinson was born in Dyer County, Tenn., on November 20, 1895, the daughter of James Harvey and Madie Dycus. She came to Pemiscot county with her mother when she was a young girl and on September 8, 1911, in this city, was married to John Pitts Brumley, who passed away on September 9, 1947.
In Wheeler, Texas, on October 29, 1927, she was married to Willie Stinson, who also preceded her in death on November 12, 1960.
She leaves a son, Edward Brumley and a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Watkins, both of this city; two brothers, Jim Dycus of Humboldt, Tenn. and Herman Dycus of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Reeves of Caruthersville and Mrs. Lilly Norman of Bragg Ctiy; and four grandchildren.
